Kungsleden leases another 1,500 sq.m. to schools in Trollhättan
Kungsleden has signed two new contracts for the lease of approximately 1,500 sq.m. in the Läkaren 1 property in Trollhättan. The tenants comprise two schools, both of which are expanding their lease contracts as pupil numbers increase.

Kungsleden’s existing tenant, Lärande i Sverige AB, operates the newly started Realgymnasiet upper-secondary school specialising in natural resources, which is increasing its leased area to about 1,600 sq.m. in response to a growing interest in the school. Realgymnasiet operates schools in 17 locations in Sweden and its school in Trollhättan is expecting to increase student numbers over the next few years.
“Increasing the size of the school premises allows us to offer an expanded range of educational opportunities in the future and to move closer to our goal of educating more pupils at Realgymnasiet within the next few years. One key element to achieve this is to have suitable premises that meet the needs of pupils and staff,” says Fredrik Ljung, Property Manager at Lärandegruppen.
Nordic International School operates primary and secondary schools and is expanding its leased area to approximately 2,000 sq.m. to make space for more pupils. For the past year, a restaurant and canteen have been run for pupils and other guests.
“We want to offer pupils an inspiring environment and are pleased that we can efficiently expand our operations in Trollhättan. We are now looking forward to welcoming our pupils to more spacious premises,” says Erik Ramberg, Property Manager at Nordic International School.
The Läkaren 1 property has a total of 31,200 sq.m. of leasable floor space for offices, health and social care, schools and residential housing.
