As part of Kungsleden’s cluster strategy to increase its presence in prioritized areas, Kungsleden has signed an agreement of building rights with Malmö municipality to register a total of 8,400 square meters of office space in Hyllie.

Kungsleden has identified Hyllie as an attractive growth area, and earlier this year acquired the over 10,000 square meter Emporia Office property. The cluster in Hyllie comprises of approximately 50,000 square meters today.

Kungsleden now intends to develop an additional 8,400 square meters of environmentally certified office space on the specified land.The property is located in an exciting and dynamic area of Hyllie close to the station, Arenan and Emporia and the new park that will be established. In connection, Malmö International School is also expected to open in 2020.

In addition to offices, the property will accommodate amenities. The project will be developed in accordance with Hyllie’s high sustainability ambitions, and has the objective to environmental certificate the property in line with Kungsleden’s sustainability work. The zoning for the area has been approved by the City Planning Board and has come into force 2017-04-28. Kungsleden is now starting the development work, and construction is expected to commence by the turn of the year 2018/2019 and will be completed in 2020.
