Kungsleden AB (publ) has signed a new lease agreement with the Södermanland county council concerning a health care facility in the centrally located Gallerian in Eskilstuna. The lease covers 1 425 sq.m. and will run for 20 years with an annual rental value of SEK 3.3 million per year.

Gallerian (which consists of the properties Vårblomman 8 and 11 along with Visheten 14 and 15) is located in the center of Eskilstuna, near the newly renovated Kungsgatan at Fristadstorget. The property consists of a ground floor with retail areas. Above the ground floor there is office space and a gym. There is also a garage and a bowling alley in the basement. The ongoing project developement in Gallerian concerns the retail areas at the ground floor where the goal is to create a more modern and attractive meeting venue for people living in Eskilstuna. The lease agreement for a new health care facility, along with previously signed leases with Systembolaget and Hemköp is part of an active leasing work as well as part of the progressive development of Gallerian. It is expected to be completed at the end of 2019.

The lease agreement with Södermanland county council is a 20 year long agreement with an annual rental value of SEK 3.3 million per year. The lease is a green lease – an agreement between tenant and landlord regarding common measures to maintain or improve the premises environmental performance which is fully in line with both companies environmental profile. Preliminary access will take place during the second quarter of 2019.
