Kungsleden AB (publ) is continuing its concentration of the property portfolio and divests non-strategic properties in two separate transactions. In conjunction with the transactions Kungsleden leaves yet another municipality, Mörbylånga. After having vacated the Mörbylånga property, during the fourth quarter of 2016, Kungsleden's geographic presence will be reduced to 59 municipalities.
Increased concentration of the portfolio to selected growth regions and divestments of non-strategic properties are central parts of Kungsleden's strategy. By selling eight properties the company now takes a further step in this direction – and thus leaves an additional municipality.
Yrkesskolan 6 in Botkyrka, a commercial property with 7,000 square meters of rentable space, is sold to Trophi AB. The property will be vacated October 4, 2016.
Seven properties are sold to Topia Fastigheter and will be vacated November 30, 2016:
- Gripen 1 in Arboga, retail property
- Halla-Stenbacken 1:102 in Uddevalla, retail property
- Brynäs 34:8 in Gävle, retail and office property
- Lerum 1:20 in Karlstad, retail property
- Torslunda 4:27 in Mörbylånga, retail property
- Torrekulla 1:172 in Mölndal, retail and office property
- Generatorn 2 in Motala, retail property
The eight properties have a total rentable area of approx. 27,600 sqm. The price of the properties is in line with book value.
