During July and August, Kungsleden signed 20 lease agreements covering an area of 17,500 square meters in total, with an annual rental value of SEK 35 million.

The rental market is still very good, with strong demand for office space and other commercial premises in all our priority markets and clusters. The newly signed leases usually have a higher rent per square meter compared with the previous. In the cluster Danderyd Kontor, a new top rent has been noted of SEK 2,400 per square meter on several new leases. Furthermore, in the cluster Stockholm City West, a 745 square meter lease has been signed with an annual rental value of SEK 2.6 million, which equates to a lease of SEK 3,200 per square meter.   

“It is extremely gratifying that during the summer we have had a high rental activity and can show very strong new rental performance. We still have strong demand in our main markets of Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and Västerås, which accounts for 80% of our property portfolio,” says Lena Bredberg, Head of Leasing at Kungsleden.
