Fryshuset
In early-2010, Kungsleden started a partnership with youth charity Fryshuset. It feels important for Kungsleden to contribute to an operation that supports young people and creates the right conditions for a warm and creative society that we all want to be, and can be, part of.
Fryshuset has a simple conviction that encouragement, trust, responsibility and knowledge build self-esteem and bring out people’s inner strength. These values and attitude are fully consistent with what Kungsleden stands for.
With its 400-plus employees, Fryshuset runs some 30 different activities from premises in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö, ranging from sport and culture to projects addressing contemporary social challenges.
Kungsleden owns and manages properties in some 130 municipalities across Sweden. This spread is also closely consistent with Fryshuset’s ambitions of a nationwide reach.
Kungsleden is donating SEK 2 million annually to Fryshuset’s activities over three years.

Young Personal Finance
Young Personal Finance is an educational project run within the auspices of share savers’ foundation Aktiefrämjandet. Young Personal Finance is a schools information project designed to inspire young people and teachers to learn more about personal finance and savings through information events, educational material and opinion-forming.
Kungsleden has chosen to support this project, and is donating SEK 1 million annually over four years, funds that will be used to finance the operations of Young Personal Finance.
It seems natural to Kungsleden to support the activities Young Personal Finance is running. Providing the country’s younger generation with basic knowledge about saving in shares and mutual funds is not only important for the individual and society, but also for Kungsleden as a listed company. A very substantial proportion of Kungsleden’s 25,000-plus shareholders are private individuals.
