The Swedish Companies Act stipulates that the auditor reviews the company’s Annual Report and accounts, and the Board of Directors’ and Chief Executive Officer’s management.
The auditor presents the Audit Report to the AGM after the end of each financial year. Apart from contacts with the Audit Committee, the auditors present their audit plan for the year, and their observations on the financial statement to the Board of Directors.
Appointing Auditors
The auditors are appointed by the AGM every fourth year. The AGM 2007 appointed audit practice KPMG Bohlins AB with Authorized Public Accountant Björn Flink as auditor, and Authorized Public Accountant George Pettersson as deputy for the period until the end of the AGM 2011.
In addition to auditing, over the past three years, KPMG has also provided tax advisory services to Kungsleden.
Fees
Auditors' fees during the mandate period are payable pursuant to approved account. In 2009, audit fees were SEK 6.3 m for the group.
