Supported by the company’s environmental policy, we at Kungsleden work to reduce environmental impact in connection with property acquisitions and management with the aim of achieving our vision. To ensure that we work towards our common environmental policy and environmental objectives it is important that we all consider the environmental consequences in the day-to-day work.
The environmental work shall be included in the work relating to management and property projects as well as on purchase and divestment of real estate. Looking after the environment involves economic administration of resources as well as demands in relation to suppliers' and contractors' environmental work as far as it is environmentally motivated, technically possible and financially justifiable.
In the transaction-intensive operations we conduct, it is important that we handle environmental risks so that environmental liabilities in the portfolio are made visable and managed. Consequently, the environmental work is a natural part of the business concept.
Work on an environmental study is ongoing within Kungsleden in order to find out how Kungsleden impacts the environment. The survey includes the development of a common energy follow-up system for Kungsleden’s entire property holdings.
